Your holiday starts the moment you open the door and find yourself almost immediately on the beach of Dishoek. The beach sleep house comfortably accommodates 2 adults and 3 children. It includes a living room for relaxing, a kitchen for cooking together and a bedroom where you can hear the waves gently rolling in. You might begin the day with a refreshing walk along the shore or enjoy your first coffee on a blanket in the cool morning sand. There are no unnecessary extras here, just a pleasant stay in a bright, open and comfortable setting. Everyone will find their own spot, whether for breakfast, playing games or enjoying conversations in the evening. Escape the rush of daily life and recharge together by the beach and the sea.

The cozy corner sofa overlooks the terrace and the beach beyond. It is the perfect place to relax under a blanket while the sun slowly rises or sets over the sea. From the sofa, you can watch sailing boats passing by or children playing on the beach. The interior is bright and open, creating an immediate sense of relaxation. Perhaps that book you have been wanting to read for months is waiting on the coffee table, and now you finally have the time. In the evening, enjoy your favourite snacks and drinks together. For colder days, heating is available via a small electric heater.
The dining table with four seats and two comfortable benches is a lovely place to share breakfast, enjoy a long lunch or savour a home cooked dinner. With the sound of the waves in the background, shared meals, card games and meaningful conversations become even more special. In the evening, you can easily fold this dining table out into a double bed.
The kitchen is small but practical and fully equipped. It includes a 4 burner hob, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, Nespresso coffee machine and kettle. While cooking, you hear the sea and smell the salty air, which may inspire you to try something new.
There is one bedroom with a bunk bed consisting of three single beds. After a long day at the beach, you can rest here in comfort, accompanied by the soft sound of the waves and natural light streaming through the windows. Perhaps you will wake up to golden morning sunlight on your face.
Start your day with a warm shower as the first rays of sunshine stream in. There is a shower room at the back of the house. The toilet is located on the side of the cottage; both are accessible only from outside. The spaces are practical, neat, and comfortable, and have everything you need to freshen up.
The 8 m² terrace may be modest in size, but the experience is impressive. You can enjoy sheltered coffee moments with stunning views, watch seagulls flying by and admire unforgettable sunsets. If you need more space, the wide sandy beach is right in front of you.
For something extra special, a canoe is available at the house. You may choose to swap the terrace for the water and explore the coastline from a new perspective.
Pets are not allowed in this house. For children up to 2 years old, we ask that you bring all necessary items with you, such as a travel cot and high chair. Parking is available at the included parking space.
When you book a beach cottage, you’ll park your car at the back of the dunes. The beach cottage is then accessible only on foot via a walk across the dunes. Please keep this in mind.
Surroundings: You can walk along the beach, explore the dunes and still stay close to the village and the capital of Zeeland, Middelburg.
House 342 is located on the beach of Dishoek on the island of Walcheren. Within 500 metres, you can walk through the dunes or reach the village with a supermarket and pleasant terraces. The capital of Zeeland, Middelburg, is about a 15 minute drive away and offers charming streets, boutiques, restaurants and inviting terraces. From Vlissingen, you can also take a boat to Zeeuws Vlaanderen, where picturesque places such as Sluis and Cadzand await with harbour streets, small shops and beautiful beaches.
There are many walking and cycling routes through dunes, forests and polders for active guests. Or you can simply enjoy the fresh sea breeze and admire the sunset. Here you will find all the ingredients for an unforgettable holiday.
