Built in 2023, the home has a subtle beach theme, cosy furnishings, plenty of windows and a Zeeland-inspired print that brings a real holiday feeling into the home.
From the house, you look out over your private terrace and front garden. The supermarket is just around the corner, and from here you can easily explore Walcheren by bike. The property is single-storey and accessible for guests with reduced mobility.

’t Vakansie’uus has a floor area of 39m² and is entirely single-storey. Inside, you will find a bright living and dining room, a long kitchen, one bedroom and a bathroom. The large windows let in plenty of daylight and give you a view of the front garden from the living room.
The living area has a small sofa and two armchairs. The sofa can also be used as a sofa bed and provides a sleeping place for a third guest, mainly suitable for a child. This means you can stay here with three guests, while the sofa remains part of the seating area during the day. The Zeeland-inspired print on the wall adds an extra touch of the local holiday atmosphere.
The round dining table looks out onto the front garden. It is a lovely spot for a relaxed breakfast, a cup of coffee or making plans for the day together.
The long kitchen connects naturally with the living area and is practically equipped. It includes an induction hob, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, Nespresso coffee machine and kettle. The granite worktop adds a neat finishing touch.
The bedroom has a double bed (180x200 cm). The bed consists of two pull-out single mattresses. There are bedside tables with reading lights, as well as a wardrobe for your clothes and belongings.
The bathroom has a calm marble-look finish and is practically arranged. The mirrored cabinet provides space for your toiletries, while two spacious drawers under the washbasin offer room for towels and other belongings. The walk-in shower has a rain shower. The toilet is also located in the bathroom.
Your private terrace is located in front of the house, behind the parking space, and is separated from the main house by a hedge. There is a garden table and chairs and a parasol, giving you a pleasant spot to sit outside. The front garden faces west. Barbecuing is allowed, although there is no barbecue provided.
Practical details have also been taken care of. You have your own marked parking space on the driveway. If you bring bicycles, you can store and charge them in the shed by prior arrangement.
Families with young children can make use of additional facilities, including a fixed baby cot, high chair, toddler bed and toys.

There is plenty to discover for families with children in and around Serooskerke. Nearby you will find a natural playground and De Goudvijver swimming pool. De Jonge Johannes, with play facilities and food and drinks, is also close by.
The coast is easy to reach by bike. The beach is about a fifteen-minute cycle from the holiday home. Along the way, you can enjoy the Zeeland countryside and cycle towards villages such as Oostkapelle, or continue towards Domburg and the beaches around Vrouwenpolder.
Middelburg is also within easy reach. In the capital of Zeeland, you can combine a stroll through the historic city centre with shopping, restaurants and outdoor terraces. Prefer nature? The beaches, dunes and cycling routes of Walcheren are all waiting to be explored.
