Description
The ground floor is home to a spacious living room with a fully equipped open kitchen. Adjacent to that are two bedrooms, one of which is a single room with its own wash basin and shower. The second bedroom, with two single beds, has a spacious bathroom with shower, wash basin, toilet and is wheelchair-friendly. Ideal accommodation for people with reduced mobility! The first floor has two bedrooms. The double room has a small seating area and is very spacious. The other bedroom has a single bed. All sleeping accommodation has box spring beds. The bathroom on this floor has a toilet, wash basin, shower and a bath.

About this property
The former, authentic Zeelandic barn accommodates luxurious apartments. There are apartments that sleep four and also a wheelchair-friendly apartment that sleeps six. A cot can be added in every apartment. There is also an annexe with a separate room with a washing machine and tumble dryer (common use, for free). De Grote Geere has a common playing field and its own car park. Furthermore, each apartment has its own entrance and terrace. There is also a central, multi-functional common area that can be used to meet each other, to play games, hold meetings or parties.

Surrounding
Oostkapelle is one of the larger villages in the municipality of Veere and was named after a chapel that is alleged to have stood here at some point in time. Oostkapelle borders onto two magnificent areas of natural beauty between Domburg and Vrouwenpolder: Manteling (740 hectares), a wide strip of land with dunes and forest and the Oranjezon dune area (400 hectares). There are also some country estates and the imposing Westhove Castle. The former orangery, Terra Maris, a museum for nature and landscape, is only 750 metres from the beach and has a landscaped garden of 2.5 hectare. There is also a museum café and a museum shop.

Oostkapelle is an ideal family coastal resort. Clean beaches, playground equipment and convenient beach decking across the entire width. The lifeguards are present from May to September, operating from their first aid unit. Your stomachs are also catered to by a bakery / tearoom, a supermarket, a butcher, beach pavilions and restaurants.

      Die Unterkunft war sehr schön eingerichtet, ordentlich und sauber. Sehr gut gelegen, Domburg und Oostkapelle waren nicht weit. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Besonders toll war die Regen dusche und die schöne Lage in der Natur.

      Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Der Check in und Check out ist sehr unkompliziert. Auch dass man Fahrräder mieten kann ist ein Vorteil.

      Verblijf was prima , we zijn voor de derde keer bij de Grote Geere geweest maar nu in een appartement voor mensen met een beperking . In en uitchecken gaat makkelijk , bij aankomst lag er maar een sleutelchip op tafel , dit aan Kelly doorgegeven , en er zou een nagebracht worden , dit is niet gebeurt. De vorige twee keer hadden we het appartement waar ook de hond mee mocht ,dat was keurig ,maar nu was alles een beetje smoezelig , niet echt schoon. De bovenverdieping was erg warm , en de thermostaat op de slaapkamer kregen we niet lager. Op de badkamer zat de toiletbril scheef. Het is jammer van dit mooie vakantiecomplex , het lijkt , dat er toch minder aandacht gegeven wordt aan onderhoud en schoonmaak.

      Wir waren eine Gruppe von 5 Freundinnen. Das Haus war perfekt für uns. Allerdings liegt es an der Straße, sodass man natürlich mit Autoverkehr und dem Lärm rechnen muss.
