Accommodation
The hallway by the front door gives access to the living room, bathroom and stairs to the upper floor.
The large windows make the living room and open kitchen wonderfully bright. The large dining table seats four people. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, Nespresso machine and filter coffee machine. The sitting area with sofa, two armchairs and a television is next to the sliding doors to the terrace. The sheltered, south-facing terrace offers plenty of sunshine and a garden table with adjustable chairs.
The bathroom is on the first floor and equipped with a toilet, sink with base cabinet, mirror, bathtub and separate shower. The washing machine is also located in the bathroom.
There are two bedrooms and a second toilet upstairs. The first bedroom has two single beds (90 x 200 cm) pushed against each other as a double bed. The second bedroom has two separate single beds (90 x 200 cm). Both bedrooms feature bedside tables and a closet with hanging space and shelving. There are also blackout curtains in front of the windows. A folding cot and high chair are available.
There are two fixed cupboards on the first floor: a closet in the hallway with the central heating boiler and storage space and an understairs cupboard in the living room. Bicycles can be locked to a ring on the patio by the front door or parked on the sheltered terrace at the back of the house. There is one parking space at the house. Additional cars can be parked in the streets of Westkapelle, where parking is free. Up to two pets are allowed.
Surrounding area
This holiday home is in the centre of the town, near the bathing beach (75 metres). The supermarket is 50 metres away, and the bakery, butcher, drugstore, bike rental and lovely restaurants are also within a few minutes walk.
Westkapelle is a quiet town located directly behind the dike, which means the beach is never far away! You can see the remains of the old seawall at low tide at 't Gat bathing beach. At the Polder Museum, the centuries-old history of the dikes comes to life, and you can learn more about the war history. The beach stretches far: you can walk through the sand from Westkapelle, past Zoutelande and Dishoek to Vlissingen. Alternatively, follow the panorama dike, where many visitors drive by car, camper or bike along the sea towards the famous seaside resort of Domburg.
